Odíhg Siqun (/siq/ /un/ [volcano] [chalk]) is a subtropical Town located in the Sti̊ci̊q Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Odíhg Siqun is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Siqun was founded by Kliggel Merwin, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Siqun has a yearly average temperature of 21°C (69°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 18°C (64°F). Odíhg Siqun receives an average of 290 cm/y (114 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Odíhg Siqun was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1197, by Kliggel Merwin. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Odíhg Siqun was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Siqun is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Odíhg Siqun is was constructed arround several restrictive gravel mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Unfortuantly, these frontieer-style defences are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Odíhg Siqun has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine which makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Odíhg Siqun long.

Odíhg Siqun's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. A local has came up with a wonderful new idea (16269 % 6)+1 months ago; it may be a magical innovation, a new industrial process, a new agricultural product, a new use for what was thought to be ancient garbage, or some other very useful, profitable idea. Everyone around them is fighting for the chance to exploit this clever new plan.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Odíhg Siqun was attacked by a group of nobles with their private armies. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Odíhg Siqun lost 135 people, 345 livestock, and 34 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 213, when members of Odíhg Siqun's militia enacted an operation to construct defenses in a particular production site. The operation was complicated by a key segment of the operation that deepened entirely on a stealth mission going perfectly. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in a stalemate for Odíhg Siqun's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Odíhg Siqun's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
